who we are-
you could call us tile experts, but we prefer the term – seasoned. essentially, we are an odd mix of people that have converged over our mutual passion for anything in clay (hence our playful moniker). the clé team's collective experience comes from having designed, collected, created, marketed, packaged, sold and -primarily- loved tiles from all over the world for a really long time with a great deal of passion. if “experts” implies all of that, then expert it is!
what we believe-
our mantra? substance over style. what that means is that we select all clé tiles affirmed in the belief that the finest in life, via design, quality and beauty stands the test of time. basically- "luxury is green". it's not so much about using reclaimed or recycled materials (even though many of clé products do), but offering products that can be cherished for generations. we believe in heirloom quality over trend, and the transformative not the mundane. we believe that we are all unique and come to our design selections based on our own design dna- clé endeavors to fulfill your tile individuality with product that is capable of reflecting your own style- with simplicity and, we hope, a little bit of smarts.
