2019 interior design boy awards: clé is a winner

we are pleased to announce that we have won two awards at interior design magazine’s best of year 2019 awards. it is the design industry’s premiere awards program, honoring the most significant work of the year. the awards were given out in new york on 6 december.

both honorees are quintessentially clé: we were founded with an aim to work with artists of all kinds to create new forms and expand the perception of what tile is. both of these winners embody that spirit and we are so proud to offer them.

first, our shimmer collection of brass sequins, from our partnership with erica tanov has won for wallcovering collaboration. this collection is an entirely new take on surface materials and a bold new way to look at what makes a tile.

secondly, a standout from our fornace brioni collection has taken a deserved place and has been honored as best in tile wallcovering: acanti. this handmade graphic, this three-dimensional wall terracotta is designed by cristina celestino for fornace brioni, and clé has brought it to america exclusively.
