yes, we’re obsessed with tile, but we see tile as a lens through which we can experience so much more: art, history, culture, fashion… and in return what we see goes right back into the tiles we create… some might call that a virtuous circle.

here’s what’s intriguing our team this month.

Pharrell.
Louis Vuitton. Checkerboard.

it’s time you knew:
the recently renovated Hispanic Museum and Library. Goya, Velazquez…and tile.

diva, diva, diva: about what else? and it’s not just the ladies. a reason to get thee to London, as if you needed one. and they’ve got a playlist too.

catch it before it’s gone (if you’re in Paris): Fashion’s Big Bang (and if you can’t get there, you can at least download the playlist). what were you doing in 1997?

runway runaway: after picking our jaws off the floor, we’ve made our holiday travel plans for next year. see highlights from maison margiela’s 2024 resort show.

make room on your coffee table (and make sure you actually open it too) the work of Barbara Cole, putting pure emotion into photography. and for some armchair travel (and lots of tile) there’s Inside Tangier.

screen it: inside the yellow cocoon shell was all the rage at cannes, and we know why: it’s an eyegasm of cinematography, vividly depicting the natural beauty of rural vietnam (a place dear to our hearts).

and oh wow: we have no words for this one — except mindblowing.

aural pleasure: orange you desperate for an aperol spritz? we have been, too, and have celebrated with a summery soundtrack that befits that bubbly bev. treat your ears to our apertivo playlist.
