We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users. As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with our eCommerce (eComm) team to analyze and interpret data sets and generate actionable insights. You will be responsible for gathering, processing, and analyzing data from various sources, and communicating your findings to relevant stakeholders. An ideal candidate for this position is an individual with 3-5 years of relevant experience. This is a key supporting role to the eComm team and reports directly to the Sr. Director of eCommerce, Sales & Client Experience.Key Responsibilities:
- - Take ownership of all Ecommerce analytics (Google Analytics, Shopify, Hubspot) and with collaboration with the Ecomm Team, ensure we are optimizing our clé eComm user experience.
- - Collect and formulate reports using multiple platforms: Google Analytics, Google Console, Shopify, Hotjar, Hubspot, and others to compile reports for key stakeholders that will allow them to make informed business decisions.
- - Website Analytics: take responsibility of the daily Ecomm reporting dashboard to be shared on the company Slack channel (previous days traffic, orders, sample orders, top selling products, referring URLs, etc.). A similar report will also be provided at the beginning of each month.
- - Analyze data from multiple data sources identifying trends and patterns that result in actionable insights.
- - Prepare ad hoc reports and presentations that clearly communicate insights to stakeholders.
- - Collaborate with team members to develop data-driven solutions to business problems.
- - Create and maintain databases and data systems within a data warehouse, to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- - Help to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency.
- - Build out A/B testing opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, OR have a proven track record and work history showcasing experience.
- - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- - Outstanding excel capabilities.
- - Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
- - Ability to work independently and as part of a team and very comfortable working in a fast paced environment with a lean team.
- - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- - Knowledge of data visualization tools such as a Tableau, Power BI or Google Data Studio.
- - Excellent Google Analytics skills.
- - Execute requests with a sense of urgency.
- - Professional working proficiency in English.
The range for the position is $85,000 to $95,000 and is based upon experience.
