Product Development Assistant



key role supporting clé product development.

key responsibilities

–unpack, document, and organize product samples
–help track the progress of any product sample revisions as needed
–assist with product detail gathering; measurements, calculations, ingredient lists, usage, sds, test results, etc.
–assist to ensure organization of physical materials library as well as digital assets including product imagery, test reports, sds sheets, ingredient lists, trademarks and copyrights
–pass new and existing products to and from the photography department, assist with tracking progress
–assist with creating product installation test boards and the submission of boards/products to industry tests
–provide assistance to team with the quality control process, including checking for and tracking issues
–assist with resource updates and demo videos
–assist with keeping website product information up to date, including but not limited to updating installation and maintenance guides, product and collection pages
–gather information for company presentations

    qualifications and skills

    –must be proficient with using excel and google suite; particularly gmail, google calendar, drive, google sheets and docs
    –must be highly organized with solid time management and communications skills
    –strong interest in interior and landscape design, materials, and production processes
    –able to bring both a creative and analytical approach to the work
    –positive attitude, willingness to take on any task, and desire to grow within the clé team
    –must be willing and able to lift up to 25 lbs
    –must be located in the bay area; currently requires a few days in studio each week, full time in the showroom in the future
