This role leads the day-to-day experience of clé's private New York City townhouse studio, blending hospitality, studio operations, sample logistics, and VIP client support into one highly polished, client-facing position.

We are seeking a Studio & Client Experience Manager to lead the day-to-day experience of our private New York City townhouse studio. This is a highly hands-on, client-facing role responsible for ensuring the townhouse is an exceptional destination for design professionals, whether for private tours, specification meetings, VIP visits, sample support, or select events.
As our townhouse program grows, this role will play a central part in shaping how clients experience clé in New York. The ideal candidate is warm, polished, highly organized, and equally comfortable hosting top design clients, managing studio details, coordinating sample logistics, and supporting relationship-building efforts with our sales team.
Position Summary
This role is designed to bring clé's New York presence to life in a thoughtful, personal, and highly organized way. The Studio & Client Experience Manager will oversee townhouse readiness, support private client tours and visits, manage local sample and collateral needs, and serve as a key liaison across Sales, Creative, Product, Supply Chain, and leadership.
This is currently not a commissioned sales role. It is a hospitality-driven, operationally strong, relationship-focused position that supports sales through exceptional execution and memorable client experience.

Key Responsibilities
Townhouse Tours + Client Experience
• Own the day-to-day management of private townhouse tours, and other client-facing appointments.
• Welcome and host design clients in the space, guiding them through displays, collections, and material applications with professionalism and confidence.
• Help shape and refine the overall townhouse experience, including visit flow, talking points, hospitality details, and follow-up process.
• Partner closely with the Sales team to coordinate appointments and ensure each visit is aligned with client priorities and account strategy.
• Build strong relationships with clients through thoughtful, high-touch service and polished communication.
Studio Operations
• Maintain the townhouse in a consistently organized, well-stocked, and tour-ready condition, ensuring the space looks inviting (seasonal flowers, refreshments, brochures, and other host-type tasks as needed).
• Ensure all samples, displays, collateral, and shared spaces are client-ready on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with cleaning staff, vendors, and internal teams to support the daily upkeep and smooth operation of the studio.
• Support the execution of launches, hosted visits, and studio events in partnership with internal teams and external event partners.
Sample + Collateral Management
• Oversee local sample inventory, including organization, restocking, tracking, and readiness for tours, deliveries, and internal needs.
• Pull, pack, and coordinate daily sample requests through courier services or in-person delivery when needed.
• Maintain oversight of brochures, sample kits, gifts, and other client-facing collateral.
• Ensure all outgoing samples and materials reflect clé's standards and support a best-in-class client experience.
VIP Outreach + Client Support
• Support high-touch outreach to priority firms in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and surrounding areas through sample drop-offs, collateral deliveries, and relationship visits.
• Work closely with Sales to help re-engage strategic firms and encourage townhouse visits through personal invitations and concierge-style follow-up.
• Maintain a helpful, low-key, highly professional client presence that strengthens relationships and supports the work of the Sales team.
• Document client activity, requests, and feedback thoroughly for follow-up and continuity.
Reporting + Cross-Functional Communication
• Keep accurate and timely notes in HubSpot and communicate clearly with shared client reps and internal teams.
• Provide regular updates on visits, sample activity, client feedback, and townhouse needs.
• Surface insights from tours and meetings, including what clients are responding to, requesting, or missing.
• Serve as a central NYC point of coordination for studio activity across multiple departments.
Qualifications
• Experience in a client-facing role within luxury retail, design, interiors, hospitality, showroom, or studio operations.
• Strong presentation skills and comfort leading in-person visits with design professionals.
• Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional presence.
• Ability to self-manage, prioritize competing needs, and work with a strong sense of ownership.
• Interest in design, architecture, interiors, arts, culture, and fashion.
• Comfort with physical sample handling, lifting, carrying, and being on your feet for extended periods.

Salary + Benefits
$75,000 - $95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include but not limited to, health insurance, vision, dental.
