here at clé, we have become known for our tile collaborations with artists and designers, however, it is our long-term aim to broaden everyone's concept of tile and to transform it from being a functional backdrop to a more artful, provocative facet of our surroundings. to that end, we have sought out heirloom quality tiles from across the globe. our tile offerings now extend from classic moroccan zellige, glazed wood-fired tiles from vietnam, rustic italian terracotta and carrara stone to thin-clay bricks domestically sourced.
our new studio is located in san rafael, california, and we are always looking for enthusiastic people to join our rapidly growing company. please note that all of our current positions are full-time and are based on location at our headquarters in san rafael.

CLIENT SERVICE REP | FRONT END SUPPORT TEAM (pre-purchase)

description

key supporting role for our very busy sales team and pre-purchase client support. this role has a direct impact on client

key responsibilities

  • first line of contact for clients (pre-purchase) answering questions regarding all aspects of their project as well as general FAQs.
  • manage all customer interactions via chat, email, phone, and internal ticketing system (answer, follow-up where needed, and always resolve)
  • pre-qualifying leads for sales team via phone, chat, or email
  • gaining and maintaining a strong understanding of clé tile collections, recommended materials, and where to find information on our website for clients to learn more.
  • processing sample requests and providing pricing quotes for the sales team clients.
  • reviewing and approving of trade applications in a timely manner.
  • mastery of our internal customer relationship management software tools.
  • communicating and working hand in hand with multiple departments (supply chain, samples, product development, backend
  • csr team, marketing in order to help resolve client related issues in a timely fashion.)
  • mastery of inventory management system, slack for internal company communications, and other google suite applications
  • required for daily tasks i.e. email, google docs, and calendar.
  • contributing role to front end CSR new employee training as designated by Director of Sales.
  • supervised by sales manager and reports to the director of sales.

CLIENT SERVICE REP | BACKEND SUPPORT TEAM (post purchase)

description

key supporting role for our very busy support team. this role has a direct impact on customer satisfaction and company results.

key responsibilities

  • first line of contact for our clients (post-purchase) answering questions regarding all aspects of their purchases such as installation tips, order status updates, proactively tracking delayed orders, troubleshooting damaged delivery, corresponding with our 3rd party shipping company, filing claims, and any other customer support relating to the post-purchase experience.
  • maintain a clear understanding of clé’s policies on cancellations, damage, refunds, escalation processes.
  • manage all customer interactions via chat, email, phone, and internal ticketing system (answer, follow-up, escalate when needed, and always resolve) in a timely manner.
  • communicating and working hand in hand across multiple departments including sales, product development, and supply chain to help resolve customer related issues in a timely fashion.
  • mastery of our internal customer relationship management tools (hubspot and shopify.)
  • mastery of CIN7 inventory system, slack for internal company communications, and other google suite applications required for daily tasks i.e. email, googledocs, and calendar.
  • contributing role to backend CSR new employee training as designated by Director of Sales and backend CSR supervisor.

      SALES TEAM | SALES REPRESENTATIVE: SHOWROOM (hiring currently paused)

      description

      the ideal candidate is design-savvy with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals while consistently providing world-class customer service to prospective clients.

      key responsibilities

      • meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals while representing the cle tile brand. establishing and nurturing long term relationships with trade & VIP clients. 
      • mastery of internal customer relationship management tools (sales crm, ecommerce platform, inventory management system). interface with other departments: supply chain, samples, showroom/studio manager, product development and backend customer support to continuously strengthen and improve sales processes, providing customer feedback to other departments where appropriate.

      qualifications

      • experience working with interior designers and projects of all sizes

        SUPPLY CHAIN | DOMESTIC LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE

        description

        the ideal candidate is energetic, responsible and willing to continuously learn, improving processes while working in a fast-paced environment. we are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about warehousing activities, transportation and purchasing. you will be able to implement new process and measure your results, and you will lead logistic projects. when it comes to transportation and purchasing, you will handle contact with vendors and understand the import process. you will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and company results.

        responsibilities

        • analyze orders distribution method
        • process orders to correct stages at cin7.
        • analysis shipping method for in stock order.
        • provide pl and instruct warehouse to dispatch.
        • communicate and process booking with forwarder for domestics shipment.
        • obtain tracking info from domestics forwarder.
        • provide tracking info to csr / client directly.
        • monitor shipment until shipment deliver to client.
        • communicate and troubleshoot with domestics forwarder for any abnormal issues in transit.
        • communicate and collect info from csr (bol, pictures of goods, contact info…etc.) when claim received.
        • coordinate with forwarder to process reverse logistics.
        • send asn to warehouse for the returning shipment.
        • monitor the return shipment until it arrives warehouse / vendor.
        • advise procurement associate to adjust inventory level.

          SAMPLES | Department Head

          description

          the ideal candidate is a highly proactive, strategic, and analytical manager, seeking to continuously improve processes while working in a fast-paced environment. we are seeking someone who is curious and enthusiastic about the very first introduction a client has with clé (ordering and receiving their samples!) you will be expected to implement new processes where necessary and measure results. you will manage a team of samples associates while also maintaining contact with vendors for the purpose of ordering and managing sample inventory. an ideal candidate will lead their sample department crew into becoming a premier team whose only goal is to deliver a supreme, world-class sampling experience both physically and digitally working closely with marketing and creative to achieve this goal. you will have a direct impact on client satisfaction via the clé samples experience and a direct impact on overall company results.

          responsibilities

          • department head for samples managing a team of associates   (hiring, training, overseeing their success)
          • understand, evaluate, and streamline processes for shipping and maintaining sample inventory
          • monitor and set standard for samples department efficiency and quality of client experience
          • maintain exceptional inventory levels and be proactive with ordering based on demand
          • ensure cross departmental communication/updates from samples are clear regarding inventory (when something is OOS, lead time on incoming, when something is replenished)
          • proactive communication on orders that could not be fulfilled. eg. samples appear in-stock, orders placed but cannot be fulfilled. avoiding a client reaching out weeks expecting a sample.
          • analysis of ongoing sample trends and actional next steps based on observations
          • present ongoing status of number of samples shipped, samples incorrectly shipped, samples arriving damaged for purpose of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
          • present ongoing status of sample inventory levels (out of stock, incoming, air shipment)
          • proactively notify samples dept slack channel members of any and all relevant updates
          • continuously analyze areas for improvement (offering expedited shipping vs when we need to pull back)
          • work closely with marketing and creative to deliver a premium samples experience both physically and digitally embodying the clé sample experience.
