here at clé, we have become known for our tile collaborations with artists and designers, however, it is our long-term aim to broaden everyone's concept of tile and to transform it from being a functional backdrop to a more artful, provocative facet of our surroundings. to that end, we have sought out heirloom quality tiles from across the globe. our tile offerings now extend from classic moroccan zellige, glazed raku-fired tiles from vietnam, rustic italian terracotta and carrara stone to thin-clay bricks domestically sourced.
our new studio is located in san rafael, california, and we are always looking for enthusiastic people to join our rapidly growing company.

supply chain - supply chain associate
  • the ideal candidate is energetic, responsible and willing to continuously learn, improving processes while working in a fast-paced environment. we are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about warehousing activities, transportation (international & domestic) and purchasing. you will be able to implement new process and measure your results, and you will lead logistic projects. when it comes to transportation and purchasing, you will handle contact with overseas vendors and understand the import process. you will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and company results.

    key responsibilities

    • warehouse project management
    • negotiation with logistic vendors
    • work with 3rd party suppliers, and other external partners
    • evaluate suppliers capacity planning and anticipate impacts
    • sales order processing
    • inventory management and optimization (availability, data quality, inventory turns...)
    • create forecasts, understand customer demand and timeline requirements
    • process purchase orders and rigorous follow up

sales team – customer service representative
  • the ideal candidate is energetic, responsible and willing to continuously learn, improving processes while working in a fast-paced environment. we are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about having daily interactions with our clients and helping them to purchase materials for the project of their dreams. you will be able to work independently, but also be a part of a bigger team sharing and implementing processes and procedures that help ensure growth professionally. this position will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and company results.

    key responsibilities

    • first line of contact for our clients (pre-purchase) answering questions regarding all aspects of their project and pre-qualifying 
    • responsible for closing deals under 5k
    • mastery of hubspot, crm tool
    • daily priority organization procedures
    • round robin split communication
    • intermediary for sales questions between all departments
    • process and follow-up on sample orders
